Surface modification of TiO2 nanoparticles with terephthalic acid in supercritical carbon dioxide

چکیده

• TiO 2 nanoparticles modified by terephthalic acid in a supercritical CO . Effects of modifier ratio, temperature, and pressure were optimized RSM method. Modification is made molecules bonding chemically. rate obtained method was much higher. Modifier on the surface NPs affect their electrical property. This paper presents strategy for modification with carboxylic acids. The reaction between sc-CO provides acid-modified efficiency higher than conventional solvent immersion From statistical response methodology, ratio 4.04 (mol/mol), temperature 401.5 K, 14.8 MPa resulted an optimum 25.34%. characterized FTIR, TG-DTA, FE-SEM, TEM-EDS, zeta potential analysis. results showed Surface affects property water, leading to positive charge surface. Since this ecologically environmentally friendly, it can be applied precursor composites synthesis materials biomedical application.
